Oh, I’m sorry, seems like I had a little too much to post. (Hiccup!)

Haven’t been drunk in… a few decades. It I was a fun and happy drunk.

 

I really don't drink any more. Once in a great while will have a couple glasses of wine. Been a long times since I was drunk.
That said, drinking was a way of life, for a long time. I didn't quite, more like just lost the desire, taste, whatever you want to call it. Admittedly believed I was a full blown alcoholic at one time, like everything, everyone is a bit different. May have been, maybe not, just glade it never totally consumed my life, as I have seen it do to others. Not beating my chest, but realize just how lucky I was, in terms of not having to battle an addiction.
What kind of drunk was I? Probably covered em all, at one time or another. Mainly happy goodtime drinker. Life hits you with all kinds of things. Morning can be a wildcard, sad, angary, mad, mean. Relationships or the falling apart of, can do the same. The best is enjoying friends, family, a BBQ, wedding, holidays. Did I mention Irish heritage? Use to love concerts, and the party that was part of it.
It is a different world these days, a DUI can really ruin a young persons life, as well as someone older. You need to keep your witts about you, when out and about drinking. The idea is to have fun, be safe, and enjoy.
To balance that can be a challenge if over doing it.
As they say a time and place, you want or need to really get rocked, use some commonsense, friends to keep an eye on ya, and stay within a safe zone. Nothing wrong with letting it rip, just don't let it get sideways.

 

I am generally happy and amusing when "tipsy" but then to often I drink way to much and then all hell breaks loose. I am quite literally a danger to myself and others. I become, something that Popsy doesn't have on her list, Stupid. I do the dumbest stuff but note it seems like a good idea to me at the time. I'm responsible so I'll leave my car at home if I know I'm going to be drinking, that doesn't mean I won't be driving though, cars are so easy to steal off other drunk people. The worst situation probably is if the crowd of drunk people I'm with can be convinced that my stupid idea is actually a good idea. Unfortunately I am a born leader and natural orator. There is a plus side to this, that I atleast know already know the people in jail with me that night.
I have been causing mayhem and disorder since I started drinking at thirteen up till getting my whole group thrown out the bar two weeks ago. The strangest part about it is in those intervening years I still have friends. I have caused them to be arrested, banned from shopping malls, to rewrite exams at varsity, get divorced, I know there's been broken bones but I don't think those were really my fault, more them behind drunk and uncoordinated while doing dumb drunk stuff with me.
Now that I think about it my list is rather long and interesting. I'm sure will carry on growing.

A happy drunk. I once had a friend in college ask me why I drank. I asked why and he said, “because you are the same drunk or sober.” I’m pretty damn careful and not out to do anything stupid. Several drinking establishments are within walking distance if need be. Always make sure I wind up there if I’m out seeing a local band somewhere further from home. I do drink alone, which probably isn’t best? But at at this point in my life I pretty much do what I want. Ya gotta die of something.

 

I have a thing about losing control, so I never drink past the point of getting a little buzzed. When I'm buzzed, I get quiet and like to observe everyone around me. I will, however, have a naughty smile on my face, and I can be more easily convinced to behave accordingly. lol

 

I’m an easy lay when I get drunk. Girls constantly take advantage of me down the bar. They know they can take me out back and get me to do just about anything sexual.

My drink of choice was Jack Daniel’s. I’d pound shot after shot all night long. I’d get shit faced then go home and start blowing chunks, but I never learned. I kept getting shit faced drinking Jack and end up blowing chunks when I got home. I finally got help

I started drinking wine. My bartender wanted to know why I stopped drinking Jack Daniel’s. I told him it was getting a little bit too much for me. I told him I’d end up going home blowing chunks when I drank Jack. He said a lot of guys blow chunks when they drink too much Jack. I told him, you don’t understand, chunks is my dog

 

I’m a happy drunk. I usually embarrass my wife because I’ll start telling jokes ( off color jokes ) and you can’t pull me off the dance floor. I become a dancing machine. I get emotional at times and express my feelings and love for others, friends and family, and my wife of course. I’ll buy a few rounds. I always have a good time and enjoy meeting other fun people.

I don’t drink because I’m depressed or stressed out. I drink when I’m going out to have fun and enjoy myself. Every social gathering is different and I react differently when I’m drunk. If I’m at a strip club, I’m shoving $10 in their panties so they’ll hang around and put on a show for me and my friends. When I’m drinking playing cards and start feeling good. I start breaking balls and telling jokes, because it fucks them all up and they can’t concentrate. I’m a happy, fun loving guy when I drink, just don’t piss me off, sober or drunk

With nothing but water in my glass, I was perusing the GD forum and stumbled upon this thread. It compelled me to dump the water and hit the Jack, now I’m buzzed and getting hungry.

Will it be spaghetti from the freezer, a sammich from Jif or head out to the local watering hole for pizza. These fucking decisions are making me even more thirsty.

But, I’m happy!
